The Scent You Forgot You Needed
Share
There are scents you forget – until they find you again.
The sharp green of tomato leaves. A candle you lit once during a breakup. The strange comfort of something that reminds you of your childhood, even if you can’t name it. I’ve always been drawn to those moments – the ones where scent reaches back into memory and pulls something out you didn’t know was still there.
I didn’t want candles that were just decoration. I wanted to make something that could hold a feeling. A scent that could bring you back to yourself when the world felt too loud or too fast.
Lighting a candle can be a way to mark time. A way to make the ordinary feel intentional. A way to say: I’m here. This is my moment.
Sometimes you light a candle because you’re grieving. Or overwhelmed. Or trying to feel anything at all.
You don’t need a reason. You don’t need to explain it.
I believe scent helps us feel more human – more rooted. And when things feel unsteady, the act of striking a match, of lighting that small flame – it’s enough. Nothing loud. Nothing perfect. Just one flame, one pause, one breath back into yourself.
If you’ve ever lit a candle and felt something shift – that’s what I make them for. Each candle is carefully hand-poured with natural waxes and thoughtfully blended scents designed to create moments of calm and connection.
